Accuracy and context
Each article identifies whether material claims come from direct observation, product documentation, a reported source, review consensus, or structural inference. Observation conditions and inference limits travel with the claim.
Evidence and attribution
Names, INCI strings, quoted claims, dates, and outbound source destinations are checked against supplied source material before publication. Corrections identify the changed claim and the date of the change.
Editorial independence
Coverage and conclusions are selected for their value to the reader. Commercial relationships do not purchase favorable treatment or prior approval of independent editorial conclusions.
Updates and corrections
Material factual errors are corrected transparently. Minor changes that do not alter meaning may be made without a formal note.
